The Perfect Squares tool is designed to create perfect squares and right (90-degree) angles. It is fantastic for scrapbooking, card-making, rubber stamping and general paper crafting! Image squaring and cropping is simple using Perfect Squares.
Perfect Squares has FIVE handy functions. The tool has the same “catch lip” mechanism used in Perfect Layers to hook along the side of a picture or project, for effortless, perfect alignment.
How does it work?
1) Cropping photos - get perfect 90-degree angles every time. Catch the lip along one edge of the photo, and look through the square to see where to crop the image.
2) Quickly create a square - cut one flat edge on an item, and work your way around to turn ANY uneven scrap of paper into a perfect square!
3) Custom-make ANY size card - The Perfect Squares tool is superb for scoring, folding, and making cards. The tool is eight (8) inches long on each straight edge, and has built-in measurements. Catch the lip along one edge, score along the other edge, and fold! Use Perfect Squares to trim a card evenly, or to custom-make ANY size card!
4) Fix misaligned card folds - it’s a lot cheaper to make cards out of card stock, than to buy pre-folded cards; but sometimes, the fold is not aligned. Perfect Squares can be used for a quick fix: find one straight edge, and even it all out in a matter of seconds!
Bonus! The circles on the inside of the square are designed for different hand positions, to hold paper in place while using the tool; but you can also use the circles as templates, to round the edge of an image, or to draw circles of three different sizes!
What do I get?
One (1) Perfect Squares tool, and a set of instructions and suggestions on how to use it.
Perfect Squares tool measures 8.5"L x 8.5"W.

This is a great addition to my perfect layers. I've been using the perfect layers for years and the perfect squares is a wonderful addition to them. I get better results with this than with my paper trimmer. I also purchased the prefect ruler and am in love with that. I would recommend this as well as the perfect ruler and perfect layers, you will really want the deluxe set if you can afford them, to all who craft. I can hardly wait to see what their next improvement to a tool is going to be.

I highly recommend the perfect square. it's easy to use & a very quick way to square up any image. Way better than my paper trimmer. The holes are nice for fingers to keep paper from slipping when you cut. Perfection.

I purchased the perfect square to help me make even lines on my altered art projects because I have a bad habit of going off kilter when trying to place lines of embellishments or stamping images. WOW! This is amazing! Well worth the price and I am so glad I ordered it. Just need the Perfect Layers Deluxe 3 tool kit to complete my collection off Perfect Paper Crafting products and can't wait till I can afford them!

I find it difficult to get the photo in the catch lip, therefore I am cutting slightly crooked and still needing to use the paper cutter to staighten the edges.I also will keep trying because the concept is great.
